Food was great!! You get a lot of food for the price. The only bad thing we was a party of 6 and they added a tip fee to our bill. The site said party of 8 or more will have a tip fee added. Guess they can not count or just care what the site says. Service was not great. Guess you need to be a regular to get better service.
Italian food is better than all of Wilmington and surrounding area. Well worth the drive to Kure beach for this amazing food. Portion sizes are huge. Service was great too.
OMG! What delicious food!! Grateful to have found this place, the best Italian food I have ever had! Freddie’s is a really small and beautiful restaurant on Kure beach. You will definitely need a reservation to dine here. You can also sit by the bar if you don’t have a reservation but mind you it’s a small restaurant so bar space is limited. Their service is great. They start off with freshly baked bread and salad. They then bring you the appetizers and entrees. The bruschetta is out of the world! And even the eggplant Parmesan is the best I’ve ever had!
The food is incredible here! You definitely need a reservation, but that’s a good thing because the style is authentic Italian. They bring out bread and salad first, then the main meals a while later so you have time to relax and really enjoy the food and company. We spent about 2 hours total, and it was refreshing to not be rushed in any way. The portions are huge, so plan on getting another meal out of your order. The service was excellent too, well worth the price. We can’t wait to go back!
We had dinner at Freddie's last week and thanks to Taylor and Christian we had an excellent dining experience. There customer service was outstanding. They went above and beyond to make our group feel special. The food was excellent as usual. Thanks to the entire crew at Freddie's.
A great place to grab dinner. This was our second visit to Freddie’s to celebrate our sons birthday. The food and service was great. I recommend making a reservation since it’s a small place and gets busy. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks and they sang happy birthday to my son when they brought out dessert.
This restaurant was recommended to us by friends in Charlotte. Wow, absolutely amazing. Do not miss going to this place if you're within reasonable distance. Great food and service for reasonable prices. Massive portions, so you get your monies worth.
